Single Lesson Costs

EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUCTOR COSTS:

We have available a 1973 Cessna 172M aircraft (other aircraft available at appropriate training levels) and currently charge $115/hour for each hour of run time. Charges for instruction time are $50/hour whether in the air or on the ground. Some ground training will be part of every dual lesson. That training cost can be minimized by the student by being well prepared for each lesson. Cost per lesson then, up until solo (flight without the instructor on board), runs about $225 to $300 (more for the later required cross country flight training).
